1. Anyone is welcome to join the tournament. All they need to do is fill out the template and sign up.
2. No one will be denied participation.
3. Cussing is permitted. If you feel sensitive to this language, this is your warning that WWT is a speech free site. I will not censor anyone's choice of language.
4. There is no maximum or minimum limit to posts. You are free to post as much and as often as you would like.
5. Matches will be based on the following criteria:
English (how proficient you are in spelling and proper sentences.)
Detail (how much effort you put in the post and how well you describe what is going on)
Balance (just like a real match would work, neither guy should completely squash the other. I want to see about a 50-50 ratio of action back and forth)
Entertainment Value (if your post is interesting to read and creative, it will count for more than if it's bland and dull)
Activity (if you take 3 or 4 days to post, you slow down the action and will be penalized for doing so)
6. My word is final. I don't have the time or patience to argue with anyone because they don't like my rules or think I called their match unfairly. I assure everyone that I will show absolutely NO bias in judging the matches. In order to ensure this, in fact, I will be abstaining from participation in the tournament.
7. ALL matches in the tournament will be No-DQ matches with Pinfalls, Submissions, and Knock Out's. This is in order to keep the match on a balanced level for both competitors no matter their style. A technician can stick to submissions moves, a brawler to fighting, hardcore enthusiasts can use weapons, whatever you would like.
8. All matches will last 1 weeks time.
9. Unless we get many signups quickly, the tournament will begin on December 1st. This is in order to allow plenty of time for word to spread and people to sign up. If we get 32 competitors before this date, I will begin it early. Before the beginning of the tournament, I will email or IM each competitor to inform them 3 days ahead of time.
10. Despite this being a place of serious competition, I would like to encourage all members to make the best of the OOC and Promos and have fun.
